Thess was one of seven reporters across the world selected by the AIPS to cover the World Mountain Trail Running Championship 2023 in Innsbruck – Stubai, in the middle of the Alps.

For eight days, Thess contributed with photography, video, and text. Thess’ language skills were particularly useful as she interviewed athletes from five continents.
