2023- The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) listed Thess among the TOP 10 for Young Reporters in Broadcasting.
2022 – The Madrid Associated Press gave Thess a full-ride scholarship for a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial journalism at Nebrija University.
2021 – Thess received the IRE’s Ottaway Family Fellowship to train in Python.
2020 – Thess was selected for a Santander Bank fellowship to attend the course Leading Digital Transformation at the MIT Professional Education School.
2018 – Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Fellowship. Thess received one of the five spots assigned to Spain to attend a specialization course on Chinese Economy, Language, and Culture.
